一群居住在康乃迪克高級社區的上流社會名媛們，每天過著喝下午茶、做指甲與穿梭在各個時尚發表秀的生活，這群好姐妹都有獨立的生活，但同時彼此也有著非常深厚的感情。瑪麗海恩斯(梅格萊恩飾)是一位擁有完美生活的嬌妻，有一個可愛的12歲女兒，一位成功的華爾街金融鉅子先生，並且她還會三不五時幫忙父親的服飾公司設計服裝，看起來瑪麗的人生擁有了一切美好；不論是在花園中拈花惹草；又或是跟隨母親的腳步擔任起婦女委員會的主席；亦或在各個公義機構擔任義工；常常舉辦正式的午茶派對…，瑪麗的生活真的是非常忙碌，也非常上流。

瑪麗和她的好友們永遠都是彼此可以互相安慰避風港，並且各自在自己的生活領域都有一片天空！像是任職於時尚女性雜誌擔任總編輯的希薇佛勒(安妮特班寧飾)；西薇是一位快樂並且非常獨立自主的單身女性，在時尚界因有著對流行的敏感嗅覺，所以有很高的地位。而瑪麗和西薇這個親密好友的小圈圈還包括了伊蒂克萊(戴伯拉曼欣飾)，她是一位非常有勇氣的母親，為了生男孩不斷再接再厲。另一位超級好朋友就是同志散文家艾麗絲費雪(潔達蘋姬史密斯飾)，相當獨立的新女性，就連女朋友都是超級名模喔。

這四個女人的生活本來無拘無束，直到希薇發現了瑪麗的先生外遇，而且對象居然是讓男人永遠都會無法自拔的狐狸精克麗絲托愛倫(艾娃曼德斯飾)，這三位好朋友開始猶豫該不該告訴瑪麗？如果瑪莉知道了會不會保住自己的婚姻？在雜誌社當編輯的希薇甚至爲了前途做出了一件讓他與瑪麗友情決裂的事！一場外遇搞得上流社會天翻地覆，但每個人卻也在如此的嘻笑怒罵爭吵之中找到了自我。

It seems that every beautiful side has its own decayed place.
Some... you can see it.
Some... you don't know it.
Some... you choose to ignore it.
Some... needs someone to remind you.
First, Mary don't know it.  She found... she ignored.... and then she needed someone to remind her.
The peosons are family, friends and her daughter.
These three main part of lives become a support for a peoson to overcome it.
Somehow, the most important part is ourselves.
We need to figure it out by ourselves.  Or... we faile....


It's fun and a normal story.
I just could not believe all I saw in the movie are all women.
Is it because the name is "The Women"?
I still didn't see what Steve look like till the end of movie.....
So.... men is not the matter?
But why all matters are around men?
Kind of discrepancy.....


Eva Mendes is really very sexy.
Since I saw "Hitch", I like her very much.
Every move, every look.... can take your breath away.... even I am a girl too.
Especially when she wore the sexy sleepwear.....nice.....
